He later moved to Branford, Connecticut.īob was a go getter, salesman and entrepreneur and this led him to establish restaurant businesses in the 1960’s and 1970’s in Connecticut and Florida. He was raised in New Haven along with his brother Richard Pierpont and sisters, Dorothy Fortier and Betty Ritter. He was the son of Shepard Pierpont and Anna Gottstein Pierpont. Robert battled Alzheimer’s disease for several years and was surrounded by his wife Greta Pierpont, family and caregiver in his final journey.īob was born in New Haven, Connecticut on March 8th, 1934. Pierpont, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 19 th, 2021 at his home in Vero Beach, Florida.
